When this applies
Universities set their own course entry requirements. Academic records and English evidence answer separate questions.

Avoid the wrong purchase
A Statement of Comparability does not report grades, subjects or English proficiency.
Sources: UK ENIC / Ecctis
What this does not do
The statement supports original documents; the institution makes the admission decision.

Your next official step
Use UCAS’s entry-requirement guidance, then confirm the institution’s actual document instructions.

Course evidence and a comparison certificate are not interchangeable
UCAS says institutions set their own entry requirements and accept international qualifications according to the course. They also specify how English proficiency must be demonstrated. UK ENIC’s statement puts a qualification in context but does not give subject, grade or English-proficiency comparisons.

Oxford graduate example: transcript detail, translation and application stage
Oxford’s graduate transcript guidance asks for the university-level record of courses and grades. A degree certificate normally is not a transcript; the guide includes specific PhD/DPhil and certain MBBS certificate exceptions. Check the department’s instructions rather than applying that exception to every award.
The transcript can be uploaded for the application. If an offer is made, the department may require a final or more formal record sent directly by the institution or accredited e-transcript provider. For non-English transcripts, submit the original and an accepted institution-issued or professionally certified English translation. Translation alone is insufficient. This is a graduate example, not all UK admissions policy.

DiploWay preparation: ask about the missing evidence
Make separate entries for course content/grades, qualification level and English evidence. Ask which part is unresolved and which recipient needs each record. Do not pay for a generic comparison to supply information it does not include.
