Two records, not just the institution

The official guidance checks the university status and the degree’s comparison separately. It specifies H+ for the institution and entspricht or gleichwertig for the degree. With H+/-, the degree must additionally be listed with that university. Keep both relevant records when preparing the evidence.

A missing matching entry is a document question

The guidance gives an H+ institution with the specific degree missing as an example requiring individual ZAB comparison. A search gap is not a DiploWay rejection or visa result. ZAB’s Pre-Check gives preliminary application and document information; the actual evaluation remains separate.

DiploWay preparation: preserve the exact match

Record the original degree name, awarding institution and the unresolved database match. Ask the receiving authority which proof it accepts for the named process. Do not interpret a similar translated degree name as a confirmed match or choose a visa route through this guide.
