Identify the activity and receiving body

Use the profession’s own recognition and authorisation instructions. ENIC-NARIC academic information and the permission to perform a regulated activity answer different questions.

Architecture: permanent practice and temporary services differ

Service Public’s architecture guidance separates nationality and qualification categories and distinguishes permanent establishment from temporary services. For the described EU/EEA permanent-practice routes, automatic recognition of certain titles and an application for professional recognition are different possibilities. Registration with the relevant regional Order remains part of the practice framework.

Temporary services use a separate declaration or authorisation process. Do not reuse the permanent-registration checklist for that purpose, or generalise these EU/EEA examples to every foreign graduate. This parent guide does not choose an architecture route or decide whether a particular diploma qualifies.

DiploWay professional authority questions

Name the activity, title, intended place and whether the practice is permanent or temporary. Ask who receives the award and professional-status documents, which decision comes next, and whether any academic comparison is actually requested. Keep each authority’s answer separate.
