A degree-level comparison is an academic reference
QQI’s NARIC statements offer generic academic comparisons to Ireland’s NFQ. They neither authenticate your individual records nor grant permission to use a regulated title.
CORU considers a different professional decision
For physiotherapy and social work, the respective CORU board recognises foreign qualifications and maintains the professional register. Recognition is not the final registration decision.

Two decisions need not mean two new applications
The current CORU system includes both recognition and registration. Someone with completed recognition in the previous system has a continuation route. Keep the decisions distinct without assuming everyone must submit two fresh applications.

Read fee and timing figures with their scope
The FAQ states EUR410 for recognition; the linked January 2025 application guidance states EUR510 for the international application. CORU’s system page separately describes EUR100 registration for completed old-system recognition cases. Do not add these figures into a universal total. Confirm the charge attached to your application route.
The FAQ timing starts when the file is complete, not when you first begin collecting records. Fast-track arrangements have their own scope. This comparison gives no uniform fee or end-to-end completion estimate.

DiploWay three-request exercise
Write three separate lines: the job or course evidence request, the professional qualification decision, and permission to use the title. Name a recipient for each applicable line.
Before buying a report, ask what question it will answer. If the recipient is CORU, record the profession and route. If an employer asks for academic comparison, record that request separately. One document should not silently be treated as answering all three questions.
