The reports contain different detail
WES describes document-by-document reports as credential-level descriptions and equivalencies. Its course-by-course report also analyses individual courses and converts credit and grade information. DiploWay does not perform those conversions.
Start with the recipient, then select the product
WES recommends confirming the required report with the institution or organization receiving it. A broad label such as study, work or licensing does not identify every recipient’s exact requirement.
A detailed report still does not make the decision
WES’s terms distinguish its advisory evaluation from the institution’s admission or credit-transfer decision. The provider should not be treated as the body granting a university place.
DiploWay report-selection worksheet
Before ordering, fill in these lines in your own notes: who receives the report; what it is used for; the exact report name; the accepted provider; the destination system; and how it must reach the recipient. Leave an unanswered line open rather than guessing.
If the institution’s page names a course-level report, ask whether its instructions also specify a package or direct delivery. If it names only an external evaluation, ask what detail it needs. Keep the answer with the page or office that supplied it.
Separate new evaluation, sending another copy and upgrading an existing report in any cost comparison. Those actions may serve different needs. Ask the provider and recipient which action is appropriate for an existing report instead of assuming you must begin again.
Use this page to prepare precise questions. It is not a universal rule that every admissions or licensing case needs the same report.
